IncredibleBank offers Short-Term Disability (STD) coverage to help protect your income should you become ill or injured and unable to work. IncredibleBank provides this benefit at no cost to you.
- No waiting period for disability benefits
- Up to 12 weeks of benefits in a rolling 12-month period, payable via payroll
- Benefit amount is dependent upon length of employment
- Eligibility – 1st of the month following 30 days of employment

Maternity Leave
Maternity Leave
- Benefit eligible birth mothers will receive up to 12 weeks of paid leave
- Payment is calculated based on Short-Term Disability schedule (years of service)
- Employees may choose to substitute PTO to make salary whole (not required)
- Transitional period for birth mothers to optionally use PTO or Family Care Leave to ease back into work (work schedule must be approved by the People Team and Manager)
Family Care Leave
Family Care Leave
- Benefit eligible employees with a minimum of 6 months of service can request up to 2 weeks of Family Care on a rolling 12-month calendar year
- Payment is calculated based on Short-Term Disability schedule (years of service)
- Employees may choose to substitute PTO to make salary whole (not required)
- Can be used for baby bonding (birth and non-birthing parents’ pre-approval needed), adoption, or to provide care for a family member: spouse, parent, child under age 18, or child 18 years or older and incapable of self-care because of mental or physical disability (per FMLA guidelines)
- Cannot be used prior to birth or adoption
- Can be used in full week increments or intermittently per FMLA guidelines (Medical certification required)

Long Term Disability Highlights
**The Long-Term Disability (LTD) policy has a temporary recovery period during the elimination period of 90-days. The IncredibleBank Short Term Disability (STD) benefits provides allows for 12 weeks of benefit payment in a rolling 12-month (measured backwards) period. If you return to work greater than 90-days while out on an approved STD leave, there may be a gap between STD ending and LTD claim approval and payment.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU HAVE A TEMPORARY RECOVERY BUT YOU BECOME DISABLED AGAIN DUE TO THE SAME INJURY OR SICKNESS AS A PRIOR DISABILITY?
- If you return to work and are no longer disabled, and the same sickness or injury causes your disability to occur again within six months of the date the prior disability ended, we will resume our monthly payments to you if you were continuously insured under the plan for the period of your temporary recovery. You will not need to complete a new elimination period for this disability.
- Your current period of disability will be subject to the same terms of the plan that applied to your prior period of disability.
- If you become entitled to payments under any other group long term disability plan (including a plan with the employer that became effective after your disability began), you will not be eligible for payments under this plan.
- A disability due to other causes will be treated as a new disability and will be subject to all of the provisions of this plan
